Our Dental X-Ray Certification Course is designed for FLORIDA DENTAL ASSISTANTS who have been formally trained on-the-job by a licensed Florida Dentist and have a minimum of three months (90 days) of training with positioning and exposing of dental radiographs.
 
To receive your Florida Dental X-Ray Certification, students must complete BOTH PARTS:
 
Part 1: Online Instruction
Self-paced online portion of the course, which includes all study materials and written certification exam. Students must complete and submit the exam online at least 48 hours before attending your scheduled in-person class. All exams must have a minimum passing score of 75%.
 
Part 2: In-Person Clinical 
Students must demonstrate competency by performing dental X-ray procedures during an in-person, hands-on lab session held at our Space Coast Dental Academy Facility.
